"Hickory" is a 4 year old bay roan gelding. Standing at 14.2 hands he is a convenient size. He was bred by our Gypsy Vanner stallion to a Fort Ranch QH mare. He is registered as a gypsy cross gelding.

We got him as a 2 year old and have done all the training on him. He is an athletic, good traveling, handsome gelding. He has had lots of riding in the mountain terrain. We have used him on the ranch doing all the ranch chores. He has been roped off of in a ranch type setting. He was used on a huge grazing allotment in Montana last summer and fall and traveled extensive amounts of various terrain. He is no stranger to a long day’s work.

He is a nice, young gelding to be around and he is friendly and easy to catch. His intelligent look and that striking roan color is the first thing you notice about this great gelding. He has good foot and bone with a nice, stout stature. He can really move out and travel with the best of them. We think a lot of this gelding and we know you will too. He is ready to go to his next home and be enjoyed.
